Lane Leader provides coaching and programs for all the swim groups and programs within the Lane Leader family. Those swimmers in our competitive groups are members of the Lane Leader Stellenbosch swimming club and are part of the district, provincial and National swimming federation

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

  • Membership is open to all swimmers who full fill the group criteria without restriction.
  • All members in the designated training groups are required to affiliate with the District, Provincial and National Swimming body (capitation is receivable at the beginning of April of each year).
  • Each swimming family must have at least one parent registered as official.
  • No new application for membership by previously registered swimmers (those that come from other clubs) will be considered until one of the swimmers’ parents is a fully qualified official.
  • All members make themselves available for selection to participate in galas that the club enters (Relay and Individual selection is the prerogative of the coach for all galas)
  • Junior, Youth and Senior Swimmers and parents commit themselves to the club for a season (1 May to 30 April)
